"Food: 5⭐ | Service: 5⭐| Ambience: 5⭐ Update: This time i ordered: • Thali set with brown rice 4.5⭐ (dhal is thick and aromatic. But kari ikan and kari ayam are lacking depth today. Spinach, potatoes and fried bitter gourd are nice) • Chicken varuval 5⭐ (is the dry type. Still my fav chicken varuval) • Nasi lemak with fried chicken 5⭐. The rice has aromatic pandan flavour. Sambal is savoury. Fried chicken 3⭐is overcooked, dry and too hard. • Garlic naan 4.5⭐ is nice • Masala tea 4.5⭐ has pleasant masala aroma to it. • Sago gula melaka 5⭐. Rich gula melaka taste. It’s too sinful. Somehow, from today’s visit, i feel that their curry standard has gone down slightly. Lacking depths they used to have. So, 4.5⭐ for their thali set. Service by staff is still top notch. The ambience of the restaurant till today is very cozy and comfortable. Previous: We love the food from Macha & Co. we usually order their thali set, varuval mutton and varuval chicken, fried squid and masala tea. You can really tell they use many spices to create such intense yet balanced flavour. Masala tea is smooth and aromatic. Will i come back? Yes Probably yes Maybe Probably no No"

"I have been here a few times and without fail, the food has always been good here. I managed to try their Merdeka special towards the end of the promo and boy, no regrets. Each dish that came with the set was amazingly tasty, fragrant and just blended so well with each other. Only wished that this was part of their standard menu. The drink that was part of the set was really pleasant to drink and was not too sweet. Other highlights: - Macha & Co accepts cash, card & e-payment. - They have both indoor & outdoor seating. At times, it can get quite warm indoors. - They have daily lunch specials. - Staff are helpful and efficient. The cashier was very friendly as well. - Decor, layout and atmosphere is pleasant and welcoming. All in all, I feel it is a good place for a good meal. I recommend checking this place out."

"May 2025 RM19 Green Masala Chicken — taste? Power! Tender and juicy like it just graduated from Chicken Culinary Academy with honours. The masala acted like that one hype friend who brings up everyone’s vibe — spicy, herby, flavourful. But the portion? 5 pieces only? More like green masala teaser. They say "chosen part of the chicken," but I think they meant "carefully calculated to make you want more but not enough to complain to management." Then comes the RM11 Skewed Lamb — with a WARNING label and a little needle to poke your curiosity. “Beware of hot level,” it said. I was ready to sweat, cry, and question my life choices. But alas, the heat level was milder than a baby’s lullaby. False alarm, no chili tsunami. However, the lamb cubes? Chef’s kiss. Three cubes per stick, two sticks — soft, juicy, and full of flavour. Like mini lamb treasure chests on a stick. No complaints, just wishes for more. Finished off with a warm milk tea, average sweetness, like a comforting hug from a friend who doesn’t talk much. Nothing fancy, but it did its job. Overall? Great taste, great vibe, but portion control macam government subsidy. Give me more and I’d call it a feast. Right now? It's just an edible tease."

"The best kind of nasi lemak is one that’s wrapped in banana leaf, and Macha & Co have it here in the morning. Rice is fluffy. Anchovies are a bit soften, I imagine, by the moisture trapped in the packet. Sambal is great for people who prefer non-sweet sambal, and there’s half of a hard boiled egg. Not the greatest nasi lemak, but at RM5 it’s quite a good deal ,considering the usual responsive service and cozy ambience of Macha & Co."

"Our favorite spot for Indian cuisine! We love how the dishes here have a modern twist and super tasty. Our favorites so far are the Briyani Lamb Shank, Spiced Garlic Wings, Butter Chicken, Peratal Lamb Roti Canai Rolls, Lamb Sheesh Skewers, and the Butter Garlic Cheese Naan! The restaurant is clean and has a tropical, relaxing vibe with plenty of outdoor seating. Both of our servers, Marzia and Lovejot, were super sweet and kind (thank you for the wonderful service)! Can’t wait to come back and try more dishes!"

"Decided to give it a try after years of walking pass it. Very surprised with the food. We decided to settle for the Merdeka set meal which had lamb, chicken, prawn etc. The plate was enough to share between both of us. Being a bit greedy, we added on their garlic butter naan. OMG, I have never had a garlic naan where the garlic had been fried crispy and generously sprinkled on the naan. Accompanied by the curry and daal, it was simply delicious. Our main meal came accompanied with their passion fruit rosé lychee drink. Simply scrumptious. The chicken and lamb was tender. The prawn was so crispy. After the meal, we decided to get a dessert and settled for their Sago Gula Melaka. We thought that they had forgotten out dessert but we were wrong. Ok, we both decided that this was the best that we have ever had. The coconut cream was creamy with the right touch of saltiness to compliment the sweetness of the gula melaka, which was frozen then crushed and placed at the bottom of the sago. Anyway, try it and you will know what I mean. Definitely coming back again and this time with the battalion (kids)"
